Miss Jillian has been dancing since she was just 3 years old, and this coming year will be her 14th year dancing! Her parents signed Jillian up for dance as a fun activity, but she quickly became hooked, and wanted to learn more and more. Before NYPAC opened, she danced at a local studio for about 2 years, where she started with the foundations in ballet and tap. Jillian was one of NYPAC's very first students when we opened our studio in 2008. She is educated in all styles such as Ballet, tap, jazz, kickline, musical theatre, contemporary, lyrical and hip hop. Jillian worked her way up through the NYPAC Company levels and eventually on the Senior XTreme Team. Miss Jillian has also been awarded many lead roles and featured parts in NYPAC recitals, and even was the Nutcracker Lead in the 2017 show! She was selected to choreograph two competition solos when she was just a freshman, as well as an assistant and protege. Last year, she was the assistant teacher for the Petite Elite Competition Team and the Spirit Combo. Miss Jillian proteged in younger classes as a middle school and high school dancer, under the direction of Miss Cyara & Miss Jackie,  which made her realize how much she loved teaching  and helping  their dance abilities grow. Miss Jillie thinks " it’s so awesome being able to see your creation come to life on stage!" . Miss Jillian will be teaching her 2 favorite styles this year,  competition lyrical and kickline. She can't wait to get back in the studio and start dancing!
