She has worked her way up through the companies, from Mini Company to the Sr. Xtreme Team. Miss Katie began competing when she was 9 years old and won the Xcalibur Trophy with the Junior and Senior Competition Acro teams. Over the last 2 years, Miss Katie has had the opportunity to compete 4 dances at the World Dance Championship. One of those dances was the Senior Xtreme Kickline dance “Let’s Tango” which placed in the top 5 in the WORLD!. She has had the honor of being chosen for many lead roles over the years including the Marvelous Mouse, one of Santa’s Elves, the Pointe Soldier, the Nutcracker, and the White Rabbit. She has taken classes in many styles of dance over the years and she has been a protégé for the last 7 years, assisting all of the teachers at NYPAC. She is so excited to teach Acro this year, which is her speciality style. Miss Katie is so grateful to have the opportunity to work with the next generation of dancers at NYPAC!
