Miss Lexi was born in Manhattan, NY but has lived most of her life in Monroe, NY. She has been performing all her life. Throughout high school she sang, acted and danced in every school musical and show - Footloose, The Music Man and Little Shop of Horrors to name a few. She also danced recreationally for the school’s dance team - mainly hip hop and jazz - performing for holiday and community events. Later she attended Carnegie Mellon University where she continued in musical theater performing in Bat Boy and Heathers the musical, as well as dipping her toes in directing How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Her 4 years there she danced and choreographed in the schools premier student run dance organization Dancers’ Symposium, as well as one of the largest fashion shows in Pittsburgh, Lunar Gala. Her senior year, she danced and performed with the university’s advanced hip hop group Soulstylz. Miss Lexi is so excited to teach and join the NYPAC family.
Alyssa has always had a passion for the arts, participating in music and the theatre from a young age. Through her experiences, she developed a love for dance and hasn’t stopped since then. Alyssa trained in a variety of styles of dance both in a studio and in her high school's dance program. She was chosen as her dance team captain and choreographed multiple pieces for the spring recital. Ms. Alyssa also competed on her studio's company team. She also auditioned and was accepted to train semi-professionally at a college level summer dance program. Ms. Alyssa is getting ready to attend college this fall and plans on minoring in dance, with a major in physical therapy, She is very excited to join the NYPAC family Teaching jazz, hip-hop, lyrical and modern.
