About NYPAC & STUDIO OWNERS

Thank you for choosing NYPAC for your child’s dance & theatre education! Since we first opened our doors in 2008, the teachers and dancers of NYPAC have strived to push the boundaries and exceed the expectations of dancers and audiences throughout Orange County. Now offering More Classes, More Teachers, More Variety, More Fun!  We are celebrating our 4th year in Washingtonville, offering the most classes & quality dance education in the area. NYPAC’s Performing Arts Facility has three state of the art, brand new studios, complete with professional Marley Dance Floors, as used in all Broadway Shows, room length mirrors, portable ballet barres, gymnastic mats & trampolines & plenty of fun dance props. NYPAC offers the largest variety of classes in the area for ages 2 ½ to adult.

BALLET, POINTE, TAP, JAZZ, HIPHOP, MUSICAL THEATRE, CHEERDANCE, GYMNASTICS, MODERN, VOICE, ACTING, CONTEMPORARY, TECHNIQUE CLASSES,  LYRICAL, KICKLINE, ELITE PERFORMING COMPANIES & FUN PRE-SCHOOL & KINDER- COMBO CLASSES & ADULT ZUMBA!

NYPAC provides beginner through advanced performers the opportunity for an exceptional arts education. We offer a professional and artistic approach to training our students, treating the dancer as a complete performer, incorporating acting & musical theatre into most of our classes. This model sets NYPAC apart from other dance studios. Our children’s classes are taught in a fun atmosphere which encourages dancers to learn the art of movement through exploration and self expression using themes children can relate to. The more advanced classes are taught with a focus on technique, developing and training strong, educated, well rounded, confident dancers. Our dance and musical theatre programs are designed to stimulate & challenge performers who are seeking a fun, once a week class, as well as those who are interested in a more intensive program that may lead them into a professional dance career. We also have six levels of Performing Companies, and one Musical Theatre Company, which are for the more serious performers, as well as many creative and unique combination classes throughout the week. Our Arts Center is not only proud of our reputation for developing strong dancers, but also for creating an atmosphere that promotes discipline, creativity, self- respect, strong peer relationships and leadership. We create lasting bonds, both with students as well as their parents, thus creating a warm, family atmosphere within our studio. We believe in building the skills needed to  dance and the self-confidence needed for life!

The Performing Arts Center’s first four years in Washingtonville were such a success! Their dance companies were the opening act at the World Famous Carnegie Hall in 2009 & then were asked to open the show again, at the legendary Lincoln Center in 2010! They also produced three original versions of The Nutcracker, which performed to a sold out house at WHS & The Lycian Theatre! The Company has also been invited to perform at Madison Square Garden, before a NY Knicks game! The NYPAC X-TReme Team won a GOLD MEDAL at Starpower Dance Competition in East Rutherford, NJ this past spring.
